Firewood Box
Made: 2019 This is a firewood box I made for my dad. I got the inspiration from The New Yankee Workshop’s video and then bought the book (video https://youtu.be/3D0OeaOlZ14) (Book: Mostly Shaker from the New Yankee Workshop- Norm Abram https://www.amazon.com/dp/0316004758?ref_=cm_sw_r_apan_dp_7YGKR58AZCQ0VDC4WPVD). I used Red Oak and modified the plan to change the dimensions. It was put together with screws and dowel plugs.
Beer Case
Made: 2023 This was made out of the wood from a tree that fell on the property (I suspect it’s poplar). I designed the plan for this using the Shaper Studio Software and cut it using Shaper Origin ( CNC Router). I downloaded my favorite local beer company logos into LightBurn to trace, and used the Omtech 55 watt laser to engrave.

Fish Tank Stand
Made: 2020 The base consists of two separate cabinets bolted together for added strength and movability. There are two types of wood in this project. The top is made of maple and the bottom cabinet is cherry. It was designed specifically for the 46 gallon bow front tank, and to accommodate the height of the cannister filter. The doors are frame and panel construction as well as book matched.
Metal and Leather Sling Chair with Ottoman
Made: 2022 as an entry for the ” Make What You Fear” competition from the Working Hands Podcast https://www.instagram.com/workinghandspodcast/?hl=en. The chair is made from leather, metal and wood. The metal frame is made from 1″ square tube steel. The wood is cherry and was milled at a power carving class I attended at Jimmy Diresta’s https://jimmydiresta.com/. The chocolate brown leather is from Weaver leather https://www.weaverleather.com/. This was my first time welding and hand sewing.
Electric Guitar
Made: 2019 From a build your own guitar kit from Tim Sway at New Perspectives Music https://newperspectivesmusic.com/. The kit included: Neck, tuners, pickups, bridge and templates for pickup layout. The body is made from maple wood, and was my own design. I used a router template made from MDF to cut the body and an angle grinder with a turbo plane to shape the top.
Sofa Table
Made: 2018 This sofa table is made from red oak with shaker inspired design. It has tapered legs and I used the router table to Chamfer the bottom of the table top.
Side Table / C Table
Made: 2022 This table is made from cherry and was designed with Shaper Studio Software and cut with Shaper Origin (https://www.shapertools.com/en-us/). The cantilever style top includes a storage shelf for books. The spine has an oval shaped cutout to lighten the look.
